Debian中安装Vmware Tools

(一个简单的记录，所有内容均来自网络，这里只是进行简单的整理)

1. 菜单中选择–管理–安装vmware tools

2. 从cdrom中找到vmware相关的tar.gz

3. 复制到/tmp目录中，并解压

4. 安装gcc
   首先执行su，输入root密码登录
   apt-get install gcc

5. 安装krenel-header
   apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)

6. 安装vmware tools
   cd /tmp/vmware-tools-distrib
   ./vmware-install.pl

7. 安装成功后，提示

You can now run VMware Tools by invoking “/usr/bin/vmware-toolbox-cmd”
from the command line. To enable advanced X features (e.g., guest
resolution fit, drag and drop, and file and text copy/paste), you will
need to do one (or more) of the following:

1. Manually start /usr/bin/vmware-user
2. Log out and log back into your desktop session; and,
3. Restart your X session. Found VMware Tools CDROM mounted at /media/cdrom0. Ejecting device /dev/sr0 …*
